About Artill and Rosita Irengård

It is magical when a beautiful work of art is created, which is a process that Rosita loves to work with in various techniques. Mostly the inspiration for designs and patterns comes from the nature and imagination.

Rosita chose to combine her artistic skill with an educational training and studied to become an art teacher at College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. After the training she has both been working as an art teacher as well as with various illustrator, art and design projects. For several years now a part-time position at the Upper Secondary School in Lund is combined with artistic creation. Rosita lives in Lund together with husband and child.

Techniques: In the current project, ancient Goddesses, Rosita sketches the image with paper and pencil. When the image is fine the sketch is scanned and then processed further in Photoshop. The finished artwork can be bought as giclée prints. Rosita also works with oil painting, gouache and watercolor, often with images from travels and from nature. Another favorite material is glass in fusing technique that becomes works of art and jewelry.
